Amal is a Berlin-based journalist and multidisciplinary media and communication scholar. She is currently editor, producer and Tallshow host at Germany’s international broadcaster DW TV. She is also media and communications lecturer and freelance communications consultant. Amal has worked closely with NGOs and foundations developing their media and communication strategy. She received her Ph.D in Media and Communication Studies from Freie Universität Berlin in 2019.
