'Seeking Another Perspective, Journey Beyond Boundaries'

The vision of Another Perspective 'A global community of young leaders making a positive impact on their societies' has been embodied on 12th August 2023 in the Union of Arab Chambers in Beirut in Lebanon. 'Seeking Another Perspective, Journey Beyond Boundaries' created a sense of community in which inspiring people from a variety of backgrounds came together and formed something truly special. The event consisted of 3 engaging panel discussions, each of them showing a different path, a different perspective.

On Entrepreneurship and Technology panel, moderated by Regional Managing Director Grace Najjar, we dived into captivating stories of Roof and Roots director - Julia Abbas, Dr. Adnan El Bakri MD. MSc., an enterpreneur leader in digital health, and Nour Al Maalouf, a Mechanical Engineering student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Alternative Path panel, guided by 'The Unjaded Podcast' host Jad Ardakani , allowed us to explore exceptional paths taken by Rola El Sheikh, a project manager, certified trainer and life & health coach, Wassim Naghi, former president at the Union of the Mediterranean Architects, and Munzer Kabbara, Olympic Swimmer.

Finally, the Diplomatic panel, moderated by L'Orient-Le Jour’s journalist Layal Dagher showed us a different viewpoint, shared by Robert D. Rokicki, charge d’affaires of the Republic of Poland to Syria, currently residing in Beirut.

Between the panels, we also had the pleasure to get 'rebranded' by Luna Raad, founder of Marketminds who shared with us the importance of building your own brand.

The 'Seeking Another Perspective, Journey Beyond Boundaries' conference served as a unique platform for individuals to come together, share experiences, inspire and learn from each other’s perspectives. As an inclusive gathering, the conference offered networking opportunities for youth coming from different backgrounds, i.e. private and public high schools in Lebanon, to connect with university students, young leaders and experts from diverse fields.

This event would not be possible without Chamber of Commerce Industry & Agriculture of Tripoli & North Lebanon, Union of Arab Chambers and Rotary Club Tripoli Cosmopolis, who supported us and our vision from the very beginning. Moreover, we are very grateful for the honorary patronage of Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut and Puls Lewantu.
