Speakers: Wassim Naghi

We're thrilled to present our next speaker for the "Seeking Another Perspective: Journey Beyond Boundaries" conference - Wassim Naghi, an accomplished Architect Restorer and Educator.

With thirty years of experience in local and regional projects, Wassim Naghi has established himself as an accomplished architect restorer. He shares his extensive knowledge as a lecturer at the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Arts and Architecture. Wassim Naghi’s influence extends globally through his membership in the UIA-UNESCO Education and International Competitions Commissions. His leadership roles include being the President of the Niemeyer Heritage Foundation in Tripoli, and his past position as the President of Union of Mediterranean Architects UMAR and President of Architects, Order of Engineers and Architects in Tripoli. Wassim Naghi’s expertise was instrumental in securing UNESCO World Cultural Heritage status for the Rashid Karami International Fair. Holding a Master’s degree in Restoration and Conservation of Historical Monuments and Sites, he is currently pursuing a PhD at the Lebanese University’s Doctoral School of Sciences and Technology.
